Who we are:

We are looking to add a surgeon to join our thriving and growing practice. The hospital is equipped with 2 dedicated surgery suites, 32 slice helical CT, Ultrasound, Voyant Vessel Sealer, Electrocautery, Companion CRT system to process PRP, Rehab room with an Underwater Treadmill and Endoscopy. We aspire to add an MRI and more equipment to our endoscopy unit (STORZ) to be able to perform laparoscopic surgery, thoracoscopy, arthroscopy, etc based on surgeon preferences. We regularly perform orthopedic surgeries (TPLO, fracture repair, FHO), neuro surgery (hemilaminectomy) in addition to the occasional more advanced soft tissue surgeries (cholecystectomy, median sternotomy, thoracotomy, liver lobe resection, etc). The hospital is supported with 24/7 support staff and doctor staffing until midnight (hoping to have doctors 24/7 in the near future). The position would entail a 3 or 4 day work week (3, 12s or 4, 10s) based on surgeon preference. No weekend or on call requirements however the ability to perform an emergent surgery on a weekend would be beneficial in the event it is warranted.

But everyone has those things these days, here’s what really makes us stand out:

Good clientele who listen to what you have to say and are willing to work up cases.

A tight knit team who believes in a “better together” philosophy because we know we are at our best when we work as a cohesive unit.

Flexibility with scheduling to ensure a healthy work-life balance.

A clinic culture that celebrates your unique awesomeness.

Our team members should also be ready to:

Let your passion for pets and veterinary care shine every day.

Enjoy yourself. If you're not having fun, you're doing it wrong.

Occasionally partake in a cat rodeo.

Grow as a professional and encourage the growth of others.

Be empathetic to our clients, coworkers, and yourself.

Be willing to be part of a workplace where genuinely appreciating each other is more than some motivational poster on the wall.

Listen to our clients as they explain why their dog/cat/bird/rat/goat/chicken is the best one that has ever lived.
