Southern California Veterinary Hospital & Animal Skin Clinic is seeking an experienced, team-oriented veterinarian to serve as Chief of Staff at our multi-doctor, full-service practice in Woodland Hills, CA. This leadership role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about medical quality, mentorship, and operational excellence.
The Chief of Staff will oversee medical quality, support and develop associate veterinarians, and partner with the Hospital Manager to ensure strong hospital performance. You will guide the clinical team, enhance operational efficiency, support financial goals, and cultivate a culture rooted in collaboration and compassionate care.
Conduct associate DVM reviews and provide ongoing coaching.
Lead onboarding, training, and mentorship for veterinarians.
Review and discuss monthly DVM production.
Address client concerns involving medical care.
Ensure DVMs and LVTs practice within scope and follow medical standards.
Support Hospital Manager with policy implementation and team alignment.
Establish protocols, standards of care, and accurate Rx processes.
Collaborate with hospital and regional leadership to meet financial goals.
Promote productivity, efficiency, and strong clinical outcomes.

DVM/VMD.
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
Leadership/management CE encouraged.

Salary: $170,000–$190,000 DOE
$30,000 sign-on bonus.
