Associate Veterinarian – Marin Pet Hospital

Marin Pet Hospital is seeking a compassionate, collaborative Associate Veterinarian to join our well-established small animal practice in beautiful San Rafael, CA. For over 50 years, we’ve proudly served the Marin community, treating our patients like family and prioritizing quality of life, respect, and exceptional care.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys a varied, engaging caseload and values strong client relationships. Our multi-doctor team is supported by knowledgeable, dedicated support staff, and we work closely with boarded specialists and visiting specialists—including surgeons, cardiologists, ophthalmologists, dermatologists, and ultrasonographers—so patients receive advanced care without leaving the hospital.

About Our Hospital

We continue to invest in our facility, equipment, and future growth:

• Expanded reception area and new roof with skylights in the treatment area
• Plans underway for a third exam room and refreshed interior design
• 4-day work week with no overnights or weekends
• Digital radiography and new Easote ultrasound machine
• Separate surgical and dental suites with IM3 dental equipment
• In-house lab including IDEXX Catalyst and ProCyte One, SNAP tests, microscope, refractometer
• Tonopen, Doppler, ECG, ultrasound, and onsite pharmacy
• Strong partnerships with local rescue organizations, including Marin Humane Society, Marin Cat Connection, and Marin Friends of Ferals

We are currently a small animal practice, but we are eager to reintroduce exotic animal medicine. Candidates with an interest or experience in exotics are especially encouraged to apply—this expansion represents an exciting opportunity to meet an unmet community need and help shape the future of the practice.
