St. Charles Animal Hospital, an AAHA-accredited practice in Waldorf, MD, is excited to welcome a new Veterinarian or Chief of Staff to our growing team! For 46 years, our three-doctor hospital has been a trusted provider of high-quality veterinary care for canines and felines in our community. Professional Development: Each month, our DVM team attends a Continuing Education course at DC Academy. While attendance is optional, it’s a fantastic opportunity for professional development and team building.
Flexible Schedule: Choose a 3 or 4-day workweek and enjoy 30-minute appointments and a 2:1 tech-to-DVM ratio, supported by skilled LVTs.
Mentorship Program: We welcome new graduates! Our team is committed to mentorship and professional development, offering externships, internships, and summer opportunities for upcoming graduates. For those interested in surgery, we offer two dedicated surgery days per week (optional) and mentoring in advanced surgical and orthopedic procedures.
Leadership Opportunity: Are you a veterinarian ready to elevate your career? We're seeking a Chief of Staff to guide and inspire our exceptional team of doctors and support staff. As part of our commitment to your growth, we offer a comprehensive leadership training program, including mentorship from the current Chief of Staff. Opportunity to Expand Our Services: While we don't currently see exotics, we would be excited to welcome a veterinarian with an interest in treating them. Our practice has a history of caring for exotic animals, and we have an established client base eager to resume care for their exotic pets. We’re also excited to hear new ideas and innovations from an incoming doctor!
